Tencoline turns a match video into numbers that a player can check. You mark each shot, and the marks give the score, first serve percentage, serve and return points won, break points, winners, and forced and unforced errors for each player. The match debrief puts what you felt beside those counts, so the next practice starts from the match itself.

Yes. A coach uploads the matches of each player, or each player shares a match with the coach's account, to view it or also to change the marks. The coach marks the shots, draws and comments on the video, and shares the match back, so each player reads the same statistics and clips as the coach.

Yes, in the same way for every player. Each coach marks the matches of their players, the statistics are counted by the same rules on every match, and each match is shared with the player and the parents. Each coach and each player has an account of their own, and each account starts on the free plan, with no card.

On the free plan, yes: you mark each shot by hand as you watch, and every number in the match summary is counted from those marks. TencolineAI, which finds the shots in the video and names each one, is part of Premium. Premium is not on sale yet.

When the match is marked: the score, first and second serves in, serve and return points won, break points, winners, and forced and unforced errors for each player, an estimated ball speed, and a timeline where a click on a mark plays that shot. All of it is counted from the marks, so a match with no marks shows only the video.

After the upload, Tencoline converts the video so that it plays in every browser. The time depends on the length of the file and on how many videos wait before it. The video list shows a progress bar and the time left, and the match opens when the conversion ends.

Free accounts can upload up to 30 GB per month. Premium accounts can upload up to 300 GB per month. You can always see your current-month usage and remaining quota on the My Account page.

Uploading, marking shots by hand, drawing, commenting, the match summary, sharing and clip export are free and stay free, with no card and no expiry. Premium adds TencolineAI, which finds and names the shots for you: €9 a month or €90 a year. Premium is not on sale yet. See the pricing page for the full list.

No. Automatic marking is what Premium pays for: €9 a month or €90 a year, and Premium is not on sale yet. Everything you do by hand stays free.

Private videos are available only to authorized users in your account. You can also create explicit share links when you want to share with someone else.

Not at the moment. No analytics tag is loaded on this site, so no analytics cookie is set for anybody. The consent switch exists because the wiring does, and if we ever turn analytics on it will run only for visitors who accepted it. Yes. A match video records everybody on court, not only the person who uploaded it. You need the agreement of the adults you film, and the written agreement of a parent or guardian for any player under 18. The rules are set out in the acceptable use policy, and they are part of the terms of service.Read the acceptable use policy

No. It estimates limb positions to tell a forehand from a backhand. It does not compare anybody against a database, it does not match a player between videos, and it cannot recognise a person. Under Article 4(14) GDPR, data becomes biometric data when it is processed for the purpose of uniquely identifying somebody, which is not what happens here.Read the privacy policy

You already have one. A coach or club that uploads video of other people is the controller of that video and Tencoline is the processor, so Article 28 GDPR requires a written contract. The player supports play and pause, rewind and forward seek, configurable seek step, and direct timeline seeking for fast review.

Yes. You can cycle normal speed presets and also fine-tune speed in small increments for detailed technique review.

Yes. The player supports keyboard shortcuts for shot marking, seeking, and control workflows to speed up analysis.

You can add marks at the current timestamp, jump to any mark from the list, edit mark comments, and remove marks when needed.

In Marks management, Export Marks JSON downloads your current timeline marks (including comments and drawings) as a JSON file, and Import Marks JSON loads marks from a JSON file back into the timeline. The Marks version selector lets you switch between Current marks and saved historical versions; selecting a previous version loads that snapshot into the active timeline for review or restore.

Comment creates a dedicated timeline mark at the current video time. You can add it from the Actions panel (Comment button), then edit or update text from the marks list using the chat icon. Comment text is limited in length, and during playback the latest comment from the recent 5-second window is shown as an on-video tooltip that can be dismissed.

Keyboard shortcuts are active for fast playback and marking, but they are intentionally limited while typing comments so text editing is not interrupted. During comment editing, global shortcuts are paused, and native caret movement in inputs is preserved. For drawing, select a mark and pause playback to open the drawing overlay; this keeps annotation edits tied to a specific timestamp instead of accidental live playback actions.

Drawing is mark-based. Select a mark, pause video, and the drawing overlay appears for that selected moment. You can use tools (Draw, Line, Arrow, Circle, Square), choose colors (black, white, red), move/select shapes, delete selected shape, or clear all shapes for that mark. Marks with drawings are labeled with a DRW indicator in the marks list.

Yes. The statistics panel beside the video counts from your marks while you watch: serves in, serve and return points won, winners, and forced and unforced errors, for you and for your opponent. Add or change a mark and the numbers change with it.

Hide Marks collapses the marks list, Hide Actions hides quick action buttons, Hide Match Summary hides the statistics panel, and Show TV Score overlays a broadcast-style score widget on the player.

Yes. The player supports light and dark themes, and you can switch theme from the menu.

You make one highlight video from the marked shots of your matches. The page has four steps on one screen: choose the videos, cut from the marks, review the segments, and create the highlight. The preview plays the segments of all videos as one video, so you see the result before it is made.Open /editor

Open /editor with no video and it lists your videos, each with a frame, its number of marks and its number of highlights. Pick one video, or pick several. The number in the box is the order of your picks: the first one opens, and the others are added to it.Pick a video in /editor

Yes. In step 2 you pick one or more shot types, and each type shows how many marks it has. Before you cut, a line tells you the number of segments and the length of the highlight. Then Generate from marks cuts one segment around each mark, in all videos in the reel.Generate from marks in /editor

Three seconds: it starts one second before the mark and stops two seconds after it. A serve starts three seconds earlier, so the toss is in the picture. Two marks that are near each other give one longer segment. You can change the start and the end of each segment afterwards.

Yes. Rally length cuts whole points, from the serve to the last shot. You choose the smallest number of shots, for example more than four, and each choice shows how many points it gives. A rally keeps all shots of the point, so the shot types are off while a rally length is on.

Yes. One highlight takes segments from as many as 10 videos. Add video opens a list of your videos with a search. Each video gets a letter and a colour, so the timeline shows which match a segment comes from. The finished highlight is listed under each video it has segments from.

Select it on the timeline or in the list. Then move its start or end in steps of 0.1 seconds, pull an edge on the timeline, split it in two, or delete it. Undo takes back each edit. A new cut asks first before it replaces the edits you made by hand.

The editor still opens it. The video is one long segment, and you cut it by hand: split it where a part starts and ends, and delete the parts you do not want. To get marks, mark the shots yourself in the video player, or let TencolineAI mark the match.See what TencolineAI marks

No. Create highlight makes a new video and does not change the match you uploaded. The button shows the progress while the highlight is made. When it is ready, a message names each video that got the highlight, and you can change the segments and create another one.Create a highlight in /editor

Yes. Space plays and stops the preview, and the left and right arrows go to the segment before and after. S splits the selected segment, Delete removes it, Z takes back the last edit, and the square brackets move the two edges. Press the question mark to see the full list.

Yes. The editor is in the Free plan, and so is marking shots by hand. The editor cuts from marks, so somebody has to make them. A paid plan adds TencolineAI, which finds and names the shots of a match for you. The pricing page has the plans.See the pricing page

A debrief is what you felt after the match, put next to what the marks counted. You write one sentence for each part of your game, Tencoline counts the same thing from the video, and the page names the difference. You choose your next tactics from that.Open your debriefs

Write down what you felt before you watch anything. In the hour after the match, open a debrief and write one sentence for each part of your game: serve, return, forehand, backhand, movement. When the video is marked, the Check step shows which sentences the match confirms, and you choose the tactics for the next match from that.

Tencoline keeps it for you. Every debrief you write is a row on the Debriefs page, with the day, the name of the match and its state: Written, Checked or Sent. Yes, and that is the point. A player writes straight after the match, often before the second match of the day. Write and Tactics work with no video at all. Attach the video later from the debrief, and the Check step then counts against its marks.

Each sentence is matched to one measure, and every measure has a bar. The marks say which side of the bar the match was on. The verdict is Confirmed, Partly or Not confirmed. A sentence with no measure behind it says No mark yet instead of guessing.

A count you have already read is not an impression any more. The marks are loaded while you write, and the Write step still shows none of them. Only the Check step counts, and the gap between the two is what the debrief exists to show you.

Yes. Each card has Speak: talk, press Stop, and the words appear in the sentence, where you correct them like typed text. A note runs to 6 minutes and is written down in English or Russian. The recording itself never reaches a disk.

Two ways. Send to coach gives it to the people who can already watch that match. Share a link makes a read-only address that needs no account, for a coach who is not on Tencoline. You can stop either one at any time.

A tactic is not one instruction. It is what you play first, and what you play when that does not work. Each tactic holds up to three steps in order, and the Summary step lists the first step of each one as the line you take into the next match.
